BIKE RIDER & SPONSOR INFORMATION
Hello bike family!

I hope you are all doing well and I thank you for your patience. We have been working on new and exciting things for SHIELD616 in 2024 and beyond.

This year we are doing three rides called “Tour De SHIELD616”. This is going be different than in the years past but the purpose and impact will still be significant. The "Tour de SHIELD616" ride will have a narrowed focus on more quality time together to relax and connect in the mornings and evenings and allow for better accommodation. We will do the vest presentations outside of the bike ride so there is less pressure and stress during the ride. Here is the latest info on all three rides;

ABOUT SHIELD616
SHIELD616 is a non-profit that started in late 2015, after its Founder, Jake Skifstad, a Colorado Springs Police Officer was involved in two active shooters. In Both shootings, each suspect was armed with a rifle. The goal of SHIELD616 is to rally the local community around its first responders to not only provide all day rifle rated armor, but to help create and improve relationships between the first responders and the citizens they serve. We want to create one on one opportunities for individuals, churches, foundations, and businesses to have the ability to know and support a first responder.

Below You will find two short links of media coverage that will give you a good idea of what we do. I encourage you to watch these short videos.
